Frederick K. Brewington recently appeared on News 12’s “Diverse Long Island” with host Stacey Bell. He talked about the need for oversight of the Suffolk County Police Department, the resignation of Nassau County Police Commissioner Thomas Dale as the result of the unlawful arrest of Mr. Brewington's client, Randy White, and the firm's recent victory over the Village of Garden City in a housing discrimination lawsuit.

Federal Court Denies Motion Seeking to Gag Plaintiff's Counsel from Speaking About Perjury Committed by Nassau County Police Officer in Civil Rights Case
In the case of Coggins v. County of Nassau, Police Officer James Vara, Police Officer Craig Buonora, et al., 07-CV-3624 (EDNY), on February 6, 2014, the Hon. Joseph F. Bianco issued a decision and denied Officer Buonora’s motion to issue a gag order forbidding Plaintiff Darryl T. Coggins and his attorneys from discussing the case with anyone, including the press or in social media, and a protective order pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P.26(c) with respect to matters learned from discovery.
