$4.7 million- Repeated verbal and physical assaults on Yemeni-American employee, while supervisor failed to protect employee and discipline the assailant

$1.277 million- Race based attack and serious injury by violent acts against Plaintiffs, who were lured to an isolated warehouse

$2.8 million- Wrongful death, products liability case involving a tow motor accident at a sewage treatment plant

Fred Brewington to be Honored with Haywood Burns Award

The New York State Bar Association’s (NYSBA) Commission on Civil Rights has announced that Fred Brewington of The Law Offices of Frederick K. Brewington is this year’s recipient of the Haywood Burns Award.

Named for the late civil rights leader and academic, the Haywood Burns Award is presented to an individual who has contributed to New York State in a manner that reflects Dean Burns’ commitment to the struggle for justice and the qualities that made him an outstanding advocate for civil rights and the empowerment of the powerless.

Mr. Brewington will accept the award at a special ceremony on June 13 at the City University of New York School of Law in Long Island City.
